Calling all Amateur and School Rugby Teams!

Calling all Amateur and School Rugby Teams!

We’ve teamed up with Rugby World – the world’s best-selling rugby magazine – to help support the grassroots and amateur levels of the game by sponsoring the publication’s Team of the Month competition which has just relaunched for the 2021/22 season.

Like many sports, community rugby was dealt a significant blow due to the global pandemic, but now it’s all systems go as clubs around the UK are back up and running, and Zerofit has pledged 20 Heatrub Move baselayers worth £800 every four weeks to the club who wins the monthly prize in Rugby World Magazine.

They are now asking for submissions and stories for the Team of the Month award – perhaps your team is on an epic run of form, maybe you’ve beaten the league leaders in improbable circumstances, or has your team gone above and beyond to help a charity or community project? Whatever the story, please do tell it to the guys and girls at Rugby World because there’s a great prize up for grabs each month. You’ll also star as the cover shot in the Clubs Rugby section of the brilliant magazine!

The Zerofit Heatrub Move baselayer has been independently tested and proven to be twice as warm as a standard baselayer and features a 45% polypropylene construction on the inside of the baselayer as well as a hollow polyester shell that work in tandem to regulate body temperature, so as athletes work harder for longer, they don’t overheat in the conditions, either in training or during a match.

The construction also removes sweat from the skin and the hollow polyester design and ‘LABO’ fabric ensures it evaporates off the surface of the garment quickly, so the unpleasant experience of cold sweat on the body lingering after the session has ended never materialises. The Move has been engineered to perform at its best in a temperature range of -5° Celsius thru 12° Celsius making it perfect for the vast majority of the rugby playing season!

If you want a side at your club or school to become a Team of the Month for this season, email Rugby World’s Clubs Editor Michael Austin at aus123@aol.com or alan.pearey@futurenet.com and tell them why your team deserves the award! For more details check out the latest issue of Rugby World, now on sale – you’ll find the Clubs Rugby section starts on page 81!

GOOD LUCK!
